AN AIR CONDITIONER DECLINES QUIETLY BEFORE IT FAILS LOUDLY.

Nothing about a slow decline announces itself. Charge drifts a few ounces low, the condenser coil picks up a season of pollen, the blower wheel loads with dust, and the system compensates by running longer for the same result. You pay for that compensation every month without noticing, and eventually a component gives out under the extra load.

Maintenance interrupts that drift before it becomes permanent. Measuring and then correcting each variable restores the performance you have already paid for, which is a very different proposition from buying something new.

AC MAINTENANCE

CLEAN COILS AND CORRECT CHARGE DO MOST OF THE WORK.

Almost all of the efficiency an air conditioner loses over its life comes from a short list: a dirty condenser coil, a fouled evaporator, restricted airflow, and a charge that has drifted away from specification. None of those are dramatic, none announce themselves, and all four are entirely reversible on a service visit. Attending to them regularly is the closest thing this trade has to free money.

SERVICED FOR A SEASON THAT NEVER PROPERLY ENDS.

In cooler states the cooling side rests for half the year and maintenance is genuinely seasonal. Here it never stops. Condensate runs constantly, biological growth thrives in warm damp cabinets, and pollen and lawn debris coat outdoor coils, and contactors cycle far more often than their rated life assumes. Servicing on a northern schedule leaves months of accumulated wear unaddressed every single year.

COILS TELL US HOW A HOUSE HAS BEEN LIVING.

Open enough cabinets over 20+ years and you learn to read them. A coil coated in pet hair, a drain pan with a rust line marking an old overflow, a filter slot too tight for the size the homeowner has been buying. None of that appears on a work order, but all of it shapes what we check first and what we warn you about while there is still time to act.

WHAT REGULAR SERVICE PROTECTS

THE COMPRESSOR YOU CANNOT CHEAPLY REPLACE

Low charge, high head pressure, and poor airflow all shorten compressor life. Correcting them regularly protects the single component whose failure usually ends the whole system.

YOUR MONTHLY ELECTRICITY COST

A neglected system can lose a noticeable share of its efficiency within a few seasons. Restoring clean coils and correct charge brings the running cost back down where it belongs.

INDOOR HUMIDITY CONTROL

A properly serviced coil removes moisture as designed. Houses that had started feeling sticky at the usual setting generally return to normal after airflow and charge are corrected.

PROTECTION AGAINST WATER DAMAGE

Clearing the condensate line and testing the float switch prevents the overflow that ruins ceilings. In this climate that is among the most valuable things a visit accomplishes.

FEWER INTERRUPTIONS IN PEAK SEASON

Components caught while drifting get replaced on a scheduled visit rather than during a heat wave. That timing difference is worth a great deal in both cost and inconvenience.

A DOCUMENTED SERVICE HISTORY

Manufacturers ask for proof of maintenance when a major part fails. Keeping a record protects claims that would otherwise be refused for lack of any paperwork at all.

WHAT WE SERVICE

OUR AC MAINTENANCE WORK.

Each visit works through the same sequence so nothing depends on memory or on how busy the day has been. Every reading is compared against manufacturer specification. Anything found outside that specification is explained before we correct it.

OUTDOOR COIL

Condenser Cleaning and Inspection

The outdoor coil is cleaned, fan blades and motor checked, and the cabinet cleared of debris. A blocked condenser raises head pressure and shortens compressor life faster than almost anything.

Template premium 99

REFRIGERANT

Charge and Pressure Verification

Suction and liquid pressures, superheat, and subcooling are measured against manufacturer targets for the day's conditions. A charge drifting low points to a leak worth finding early. Topping up without finding the source solves nothing.

INDOOR COIL

Evaporator and Blower Service

The indoor coil is cleaned with a self-rinsing product, the blower wheel assessed, and airflow verified. Deep cleaning is available at a discounted rate where the coil genuinely needs it.

Template premium 99

DRAINAGE

Condensate Line and Pan Service

The drain is flushed, the pan inspected for corrosion and standing water, and the safety float switch tested. This single task prevents most of the water damage we are called about.

ELECTRICAL

Component and Connection Testing

Wiring, contactor points, capacitor values, voltage, and amp draw are all checked and recorded. Numbers drifting from nameplate values are the earliest honest warning a system gives. Loose terminals are tightened while the panel is open.

PERFORMANCE

Overall Performance Evaluation

Temperature differential across the coil, run times, and cycling behavior are assessed together. That final check confirms whether the corrections made during the visit actually restored proper operation. Anything still outside specification is reported to you.

THE WORD ON OUR WORK

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY.

Maintenance customers rarely have dramatic stories, and that is the point of the service. What they do write about is a system that has kept running through several summers without an emergency call, which is exactly the result we are aiming for.

Common Questions

frequently asked
questions.

These questions come up regularly on service visits around the area. If yours is not covered below, put it to the technician before they pack the van up.

  • How often should air conditioning be serviced in FL?

Twice a year is the sensible standard here because the cooling side runs almost continuously. Systems serviced annually accumulate roughly double the wear between visits that equipment in cooler states does.

  • What is the difference between maintenance and a repair?

Maintenance is scheduled inspection, cleaning, and adjustment intended to prevent failure. A repair corrects something that has already broken. Consistent maintenance simply reduces how often the second one is needed.

  • Can I clean the outdoor unit myself?

You can safely clear leaves, trim vegetation back, and rinse the fins gently from outside. Chemical coil cleaning, fin straightening, and anything requiring the panel removed should be left to a technician.

  • Does maintenance help with humidity problems?

Frequently, yes. Restricted airflow and incorrect charge both reduce moisture removal, so correcting them often resolves a clammy house without any change to the equipment or the thermostat setting. We check both as a matter of routine.

  • What happens if I skip a year?

Nothing dramatic immediately, which is why it is easy to keep skipping. Efficiency erodes, small faults progress, and the risk of a peak-season failure rises with each year that passes unattended.

  • Is the membership club worth joining?

For most homes with a single system, the 2 visits, 15% repair discount, and priority scheduling cover the cost quickly. Mission Air Services, Inc. explains the numbers plainly for every Plant City, FL household.

  • How long does a maintenance visit take?

Usually 60 to 90 minutes for a single residential system when nothing needs correcting. Heavier coil cleaning, drain problems, or a second unit will extend that, and we say so beforehand.

  • When is the best time of year to book?

Spring, before the first serious heat wave fills the schedule. Booking early also means you choose the appointment window rather than taking whatever remains once demand climbs. Members are scheduled ahead of that queue automatically.

We Finalize Your Order

STEP 04

Once you choose a product, we confirm every specification, from swing direction to hardware preparation, before placing the order, so the door that arrives matches what was actually agreed upon.

HOW WE WORK

FROM SCHEDULED VISIT TO WRITTEN RECORD, HERE IS HOW.

STEP 01

WE START WITH YOUR OBSERVATIONS

Any room running warm, any new noise, any change in the bill. Those details guide where we look hardest, and they often matter more than anything the checklist would surface on its own.

STEP 02

WE WORK THE OUTDOOR UNIT

Coil cleaned, fan and motor inspected, electrical connections checked, cabinet cleared, and refrigerant pressures read. Anything corroded, loose, or overgrown is corrected or photographed for you at that point. Nothing is put back until the cabinet is genuinely clear.

STEP 03

WE OPEN THE INDOOR CABINET

Evaporator cleaned, blower wheel assessed, filter changed, and drain pan and line flushed and tested. Access panels are properly resealed afterward rather than left loose against the cabinet. The float switch is tested rather than simply looked at.

STEP 04

WE TAKE THE ELECTRICAL READINGS

Voltage, amperage, capacitor microfarads, and contactor condition are recorded and compared against nameplate values. Components approaching their limits get flagged now, while replacing them is still routine. Those figures sit alongside last year's for comparison, so any drift is visible.

STEP 05

WE CONFIRM PERFORMANCE

Temperature differential, cycling behavior, and airflow at the registers are checked once everything has been corrected. That confirms the visit actually improved the system rather than merely inspecting it. A visit that changes no readings has not achieved very much.

STEP 06

WE LEAVE YOU THE RECORD

Every measurement, every correction, and every item worth watching goes on a written summary. Repairs, if any are needed, are quoted separately at the member rate for you to consider. Nothing proceeds without your approval first.
