STEP 01
WE SURVEY THE SPACE
Room dimensions, glazing, insulation, orientation, and how the space is actually used all get recorded. A converted garage behaves very differently from an addition with modern windows and insulation. Existing insulation and window condition both get noted.
STEP 02
WE PLAN THE PLACEMENT
Head position is chosen for throw pattern and comfort rather than for the shortest line set. Outdoor unit placement is agreed with you, allowing for noise, access, and storm water. Nothing is mounted until you have seen the proposed position.
STEP 03
WE SIZE EACH ZONE
Capacity is calculated per room, not estimated from floor area. Oversizing a ductless head is just as damaging to humidity control as oversizing a central system would be here. Humidity control depends on getting that figure right.
STEP 04
WE ROUTE THE LINE SET NEATLY
Refrigerant piping, condensate drain, and control wiring run together through a single penetration, in a covered channel where the run is visible. Neat routing is part of the job. Penetrations are sealed properly against weather and pests.
STEP 05
WE INSTALL AND EVACUATE
Heads are mounted level and secure, connections flared and torqued to specification, and the system evacuated to a deep vacuum before charge is released. Shortcuts here cause leaks later. Nitrogen pressure testing precedes the vacuum on every install.
STEP 06
WE COMMISSION EACH HEAD
Every zone is tested individually in heating and cooling, drain flow verified, and the remote or wall control set up with you. Readings are recorded and left with your paperwork. Filter cleaning is demonstrated before we finish up.
